Sjørup Traktor A/S was established in 1963 by Jens and Ragnhild Lauridsen – with the main purpose of servicing the local farmers with repair and maintenance of tractors and other agricultural machinery.

In the course of time their son, Ole Lauridsen, took over the company and throughout the years the company developed into a global business enterprise with many ramifications – both national and international.
To keep pace with the increasing demand for good, used spare parts and the gradual amendment in the agricultural sector, we started to buy many used machines and to sell the good-working, used tractor spares to machine dealers all over Denmark.
This became a very important lifeline for us.

At the same time we established good contacts abroad and therefore, the export of used agricultural machines became another important lifeline for us.
Due to the increasing export, DANBRUGT A/S was established as export company in 1990 – being a part of the Sjørup Traktor Group.

Today we have branches in Norway, Traktor & Maskindeler Sør A/S, Kristiansand, and in Poland, Sjorup Traktor Polska Sp.z.o.o., Szydlowo.

Through the years we have currently extended our export activities and we therefore have much experience with international trade.
Our exports include all the world – from Thailand in the east to Bolivia in the west – from Greenland in the north to Australia in the south.

Today the company employs 28 people here in Denmark (please take a look at our staff list) within sales of both new and used spares, administration, purchase, import and export of used agricultural machinery and machine parts, workshop/repair and scrapping, registration and quality control.
